Restaurierung oder nicht??

Was mache ich jetzt>
Ich wurde lieber meine 02 nicht restaurieren!  Ich liebe seine patina.
Aber die Turen und Front Blech ist schlecht!  Dem muss ich ganz einfach verbessern.  Aber was dann mit die Lackierung>

Hallo Anders,

wenn du keine Probleme mit der MOT (oder anderen technischen Kontrollen, falls der Wagen nicht in England zugelassen ist) bekommst und zusätzlich keine Probleme mit der grundsätzlichen Fahrsicherheit (Achse bricht raus oder sowas) oder einer drohenden, dauerhaften Substanzverschlechterung siehst, dann lass den Wagen wie er ist. Restaurieren kann man auch später noch, wenn es dann unumgänglich wird.

Nur meine Meinung.

Hi Anders just replace what you have to and agood paintshop can spray the paint matched to the car so with some matt in the paint etc to make it look old and patinated and do not polish the paint after repainting. By the way you need amore moder racetransorter for your BMW the Vanguard is to old something like this see below as I use.regards Gavin

Der Wagen ist Dänisch zugelassen.  Egal, der Fahrsicherheit fehlt nicht als die Probleme nur kosmetisch sind.  Trotzdem muss ich erkennen das die Turer und die Frontblech seht wirklich schlecht aus!

I clearly don't know enough about repainting cars.  If they can actually match the patina of my old mismatched Agave green paint, then that could certainly be a solution.  
As for a racecar transporter, I agree that the Standard is much too old.  It wouldn't look right.  I especially like your Ford Transit - very cool!!  For the time though, I'll just drive my 2002 to and (hopefully) from various hillclimbs, as the car is road legal and registered...
